Once Jurgen Klopp had been presented with his giant Ginsters pasty, he could settle down to watching his side end Argyle's F.A Cup run, and so deny them a further big home tie against Wolves. An 18th minute goal by Lucas being enough to earn Liverpool a single goal victory. Jervis hit a post for Argyle in the second half, and Liverpool's Origi had a tame effort from the penalty spot easily saved. With no more F.A Cup commitments, the Pilgrims fans can now concentrate on watching Nathan Blissett power them to promotion in the league.

Lots of nice photos, thanks for those, but let's not forget that this was more or less Liverpool's reserve team, so let's not start thinking that it would have been a major giant killing achievement if Plymouth had won. Based on how Premier League clubs now view the FA Cup, you have to go back many years to find one of those.
