The very dilemma I faced with on Saturday afternoon as I pushed my overflowing trolley towards the checkout at Tesco. I told the Lady manning the till (womanning the till ??) that I needed to be sure my money wouldn't end up in the bank account of their Fat Cat Chief Executive, as part of his bloated monthly salary. A portion of which he might donate to Theresa May's Conservative Party. Being given no such assurance, you can guess that I was compelled to leave the store empty handed. And now, by Wednesday, I'm getting to feel damned hungry  .

And why would the club accept money in payment for a season ticket without assuring themselves they're happy with where it was coming from. Had it been acquired through illegal drug sales, or was it the proceeds of immoral earnings such as running a brothel in Newton Abbot, or filling school school kids heads with Socialist dogma ?

Either way, I've contacted the club, pulled a few strings, and received a guarantee that Hector's season ticket money would be used exclusively towards a signing on fee for Brett Williams, to encourage Brett to re-sign with us. Of course if Hector doesn't purchase a season ticket, and Brett consequently doesn't sign.....

You're amongst friends here Hector, and if you'd just come straight out and said that spending your money on rugby in Exeter had more of an appeal, no one would have been too shocked. But if you'd done that we would have missed out on the creative thinking about your money possibly being spent by Clarke Osborne on lobbying the Council, which will have put a smile on a few faces  .

Any news on when we can pick them up?

Do we feel that buying season tickets for TUFC this season, is good value for money? Please no smart asse# comments like, " well if we get promoted of course it would be" we can leave that to others.

Because Boreham Wood have a sustained income facility.

I.e Arsenal ladies share the ground. Rent from them = more income than tufc make in a season.

Car park facilities earn the club on average £1,500 to £2,000 a week.

Hire of there clubhouse facility = £500 to £1000 a week plus income from the bar etc.



Our outside income is £0

Hence why plainmoor is not sustainable.

Clubs 3 tiers below us earn £1,000 a week from car parking etc.

And so onto the level we have reached as a business run football club is less than that of a 8th tier club.

On the field is around that level this club can compete with.

Boreham Wood are a far bigger club income wise than we are.

Take Solihull moors tinpot ground part time we are expected to beat them 6-0?

They earn £100,000 a year from car parking let out to jaguar car plant next door.
Rental from Birmingham City ladies football club is more than we make in a year on matchday.

So clubs like Boreham Wood can charge £100 as people paying on matchday is a very small amount of money modern football clubs income.

Tufc and plainmoor are stuck in the 1970s in this aspect.

Examples Emirates stadium capacity 60,000 hospitality and corporate takes 17,000 of that.

New Tottenham ground 61,000 capacity, 21,500 are hospitality and corporate seats.


How can plainmoor ever sustain football at a level above tier 7 or 8 is beyond anyone surely.

We are reaching the level our ground and outside income can sustain.

You still don't understand sustainability???

Boreham Wood could have attendance of 0.

They still make more income than we do on a matchday with off field facilities.
