Relegation beckons. Hopefully the club will follow the Southampton model by bringing in young players and developing them. There must be young talented players out there.

We should still get over 1000 I think and will be one of the big beasts in the division. No way will CO fund us as a full time set up as that is what will be required. In some ways makes better business sense for him to see us in this division as the running costs will be much lower and not as if CO is interested in watching any games. Also, being in a lower division will be a stick to use to try and move sites along the lines of redevelopment will give us the funds to survive in the NL or go full time etc. The only good news is that TUFC are unlikely to go bust as CO would lose the leasehold interest in Plainmoor (including the buildings which are "tenant improvements" )and it is no secret that is his prime motivation. However, debt incurred by the club to GI could be another stick to push for a redevelopment from the council. Relegation is an opportunity for CO.

Makes better business sense, unlikely to go bust, one of the big beasts, gates over 1000, running costs lower, improves case for Osborne Arena.
I must thank rjdgull for substantially reducing my dread of relegation. It doesn't feel quite so bad once so many plus points are laid out. And I'm not even so sure that there's 'no way' we'll remain full time. Less good news is that the BBC are already implementing ways to punish the elderly for voting Brexit. The very ones, such as the housebound, who can't get to Plainmoor to see a game these days. The elderly among our community who might have been shown a computer once by a grandchild at Christmas, but who neither own one or would have the faintest clue how to use one, or what 'online' means. Let's see our community minded TUST put it's back into this getting this decision overturned. A decision that will have come as devastating news for many elderly Gulls fans. Forget Lefty alliances and political allegiances with the Beeb. Side with the fans instead.
