I don't usually land a scoop, but I have it straight from the horse's mouth that one of our stars is off to AFC Fylde.
You heard it here first.

How could a club which has just thrashed the League leaders possibly think that we have any "stars", when we have taken three points out of the last 24, scoring three goals and conceding 17? Their management team must be as deluded as ours. Nevertheless, congratulations to Jon for being the first to bring this news to our attention, as opposed to poppy shirts, nike boots and Guiseley match sponsorship raffle as announced on the official site.
It must be either McGinty or Young, perhaps even Davis, going to Fylde. It can't be Dorel, who has just signed a new contract. Those are the only "stars" we have, as the others are nothing more than kids on loan. As far as I am concerned, the sooner our so-called "stars" are sold to other clubs, the better, as our great benefactor, Mr Osborne, will happily pocket the cash and thereby put an end to what was once a great and stable Football League club.

I'm guessing it's Gilbert, who has seen his relations with management irrevocably break down. A fresh start in a new environment could be just what he needs, though the strong winds blowing in off the North Sea might take a bit of getting used to.
There's the other possibility that it's one of our players who's being billed as a 'star'. But again the Forums appear to be overwhelmingly of the conclusion that we are already down, and the suggestion that the rest of this season should be used in preparation for our assault on NLS next term also garners wide support. One of our better players moving now, rather than at the end of the season, should therefore be met with no more than a shrug of the shoulders, however in reality I'd expect a far more hypocritical reaction.

No fooling Stewart, AJ or Loyal.
"One of our stars" could not possibly mean a player.
AJ close but no cigar with Gilbert.
It's actually Bernard Noble - driving force behind the TUOSC.
Can't blame him - it would be a long commute from Blackpool to Plainmoor.
Let's hope TUOSC can find a suitable replacement.
How about it, AJ?

I thought he’d end up as part of our fabled ‘local board’, tbh.
I’m happy TUST are reaching out to TUOSC members as we are all fans, but won’t miss a man who in his only public appearance of note appeared to mock perceived lesser fans than himself. Seem to recall he also set up a Truro equivalent when Masters was annoyed at their trust. Not popular with many Hull supporters for splitting fans and cosying up to the Allam’s there, either.
Oh well, I hope his successor is a TUFC fan and as well as continuing TUOSC’s good work, also appreciates, like Mike Thomas, the need for TUFC fans to be united. Now more than ever.
Maybe AJ is the man for that job? Would certainly underline the broad church that we are.

Whether you'd have been more effective having remained a narrow church with a common purpose is always open to debate, and while Mike Thomas might now be reflecting on a need for TUFC fans to be united, he'll be as aware as any that when a faction of the fan base broke away and set themselves up as prospective owners, it brought about the schism and disunion among supporters that we have never to this day recovered from or been able to mend. The last time the boss called us in, he indicated that both DT and I were fulfilling our current roles much to his satisfaction. The TUOSC role requires someone more suited than myself to carrying on the task of steadily bringing TUST 'in house'. It needs someone of the right temperament, and even Bernard, at times, struggled to prevent himself saying what he really thought. Bernard is moving to a dynamic forward looking club, with a strong Brexit ethos running through it. I thank him and wish him well.
