Clarke in goal Back three of Balatoni Gowling McGinty Efete right wing back Davis left Aaaron Barnes debut as holding midfielder, Young and Dowling ahead of him Reid and Romain up front Williams on bench with Dorel, Klukowski, O'Sullivan and Keating
Barnes becomes our 37th player to get pitch time this season. Now over half of these (19 v 18) - brought to the club after Nico was sacked.

Only Solihull winning in the bottom 4 (2 - 0) and think if they win could go with a point of Barrow.
Lathrope on the bench for Woking.

Change of keeper at half-time.
Assume Clarke is crocked.
Dorel on.

A really good result but sadly draws will not save our skins lack of quality a big big problem for us as usual

Not enough unfortunately sounded a more solid display but pretty ineffective going forward. Pleased for the players who must have been at an all time low Good commentary from Danny Racchi talks a lot of sense and is obviously very fond of the club. Eight or nine wins required minimum with couple of clubs above us to go out of business you never know. Clutching at straws.

Interesting stat from Jon that 20 players have made their 2017/2018 debuts for TUFC since Nicholson was sacked. That said, today we started with 8 players who were here before Owers arrived.
Looking forward there are a couple of positives after today’s decent point:-
- Romain sounds like a very busy player, which may complement Williams’s languid approach. Good to see him off the mark and Williams getting an early run out.
- Owers still has the option to select that back three of Efete, Gowling and McGinty in front of Dorel that went on a clean sheet run for him earlier in the season if he chooses to use it.
- We showed a bit of fight coming from behind, which is a refreshing development.
Solihull are on a run of 4 wins and a draw from their last 5 games. We need to be doing the same asap. Can’t see it happening under Owers, but stranger things have happened.

The occasional single point isn't what we need, so above all let's hope that the really boost and bonus from today was to the team's confidence. If you're struggling in last place then going away to the top team and fighting back for a draw 'ought' to do you some good. No it doesn't propel you up the table, but maybe when looking at Romain and Williams, our defenders and midfielders will feel a bit more encouraged and motivated.
Well done today on coming away from Macclesfield unbeaten, but sooner rather than later wins will be needed if we're to have any hope of avoiding that one season in the NLS.
