Well, he had seen Regis play! Think Bobson Bawling will go the same way from what I have seen

Again, paying up players to persuade them to leave. And in the case of BB it doesn't seem many months ago that we got him to sign on the dotted line to come here. While it's nothing compared to the legacy that Knill left us thanks to the contracts he handed out to players capable of doing nothing more that propelling us towards Non League, just working to discard the unfit for purpose additions brought in by Owers over the Summer is beginning to mount up financially.
Clarke Osborne will need to build a new housing estate the size of half of Devon if he hopes to earn enough to recoup the cash he's been putting in trying to get us a strong Torquay United team. It's a cash guzzling black hole, explaining why serious bids to take on the football club business were almost non existent. Should CO's brave and ambitious plans be thwarted by the Lib/Macron/TUST alliance, you can easily picture how this might end up.
And Bawling wasn't necessarily the worst performing of the one's we've had to shift out over recent months. Geoff Harrop has justifiably had to carry the can to a degree for the poor appointment of Owers. CO's cash is financing the removal of the deadwood , and he's writing the cheques to bring in better quality on and off the field. Grandstanding local politicians, egged on by madcap Militants and their 'fans organisation' can potentially bring our whole revival to a shuddering halt and place the club in serious jeopardy. We support or finance such behaviour by the Militants and their political friends at our peril. Live to see the consequences of a Militant victory, and we'll all be bawling.
