While the Treyew Rd ground isn't being built on, it would surely be preferential if Truro City can return to playing their home games there. If and when building work does get underway (May 2019 at earliest....expect local Truro Liberal Councillors to raise objections in late April 2019 ?) I'm certain that we will again provide a warm welcome back to Plainmoor for our friends from Cornwall wishing to recommence hosting their home fixtures here. link - Truro City, Going And Coming

link - confirmation that Truro are to go back but unfortunately Masters has taken the commercial decision to wait until our New Year’s Day game until leaving Plainmoor. The upside is it will be the localest of local Derby’s ever and an extra game to see as well as the players getting that extra support. Slightly surreal away fixture and not sure how the ground will be laid out for home and away fans respectively?

Slightly surreal away fixture and not sure how the ground will be laid out for home and away fans respectively? I am pleased from a selfish point of view, but feel genuinely sorry for Truro fans who have been treated terribly. I am not at all surprised that Mr Masters does not want to throw away the chance of a bumper Plainmoor bank holiday pay day. Torquay United will also enjoy the extra bar takings at Boots and the Gulls Nest. I was speculating that the Torquay game would account for over 50% of Truro's total gate receipts for the season if they stayed at Plainmoor. Bank the payday and then go back to Treyew Road would give them the best return. I wonder how AJ is getting on with his plan to demand that Masters stick to his promise of free admission for Torquay season ticket holders. Or has he decided that his time would be better spent nailing jelly to a wall?

Attendance of 39 for their match on Saturday. Bad news for the pitch if both Truro and Torquay get home draws tomorrow.

After that heavy overnight rain the Truro match has been called off - bit of relief for the pitch but how many more postponements will there be?

Going to absolutely bucket down tomorrow with a yellow warning out but we may just get away with it. Mainly dry then until Truro play on Saturday. Weather forecast to be dry between Christmas and New Year. Possibly colder in New Year so frost could be an issue next month

link - looks like Masters is in negotiations with our club about ending this agreement or in other words trying to get some of the money paid back! The ground share has been a bit of a disaster with the distances involved seeing very low attendances and the pitch being roughed up with the prolonged rainfall before Christmas.

We can still use his coach, I guess. That’ll be factored in. Fingers crossed that’s it for this season.
