link - After a successful loan Wright returned to us unfit and his poor signing by Owers never worked out and he has left by mutual consent. Johnson has continued to get rid of those not up to standard. link. / I see that Banton has gone out on a month’s loan to St Albans - will he be back? Did not impress I am afraid...

Its pretty clear to me that GJ realises that he cannot wait for players to get up to speed. Wright and Banton both, on there day are capable players or should be at this level but for one reason or another have not impressed the manager. Hope they both can get their acts together and carve out decent careers. Its quite sad to see a player like Wright who impressed while on loan from WBB at only eighteen years of age look so unfit and out of touch. Its so much about character and desire - not just ability.
