After a two week break from league action we enter an important mini phase of the season with three games in a week with an opportunity to both maintain and improve our league position of fourth, playing Dartford and Welling, both of whom sandwich us in the league and at the top of the form guide table.
However, first we are away to Dulwich Hamlet who entered this league in the opposite direction from us and host their final game in Exile at Tooting and Mitcham FC before returning to their home patch. They have had a busier week than us hosting Welling in their FA trophy replay game on Wednesday night coming through that with a 2-1 win so can beat the better teams in our league although have a return of only 5 points from the last six. Whether as a full-time team we can capitalise on them having less than three days recovery time remains to be seen.
Some good news received today in that Asa Hall, Ryan Dickson and Alex Bass are all back in training with us to add to Essuman’s and Sendles-White recent return to fitness and while they all may not be ready to jump straight into the first 11 this Saturday there will be pressure on places and give Johnson the opportunity to rotate if required or provide cover for injury. I would like to see Hall back as soon as he is fully fit as I think he does give us something different in the midfield area as well as an attacking option for all those corners we are now getting. I would also like to see Bass back in goal ahead of McDonald despite him providing excellent cover so far this season.
So far, Johnson has an exceptional 10 points from his four league away games and hopefully he can continue adding to this tally. COYY.

I saw them at Plainmoor against Truro and their defence looked all at sea when Truro went at them hard straight from the kick-off. JP Pittman ran them ragged and Truro should really have been more than 2-0 up after quarter of an hour. Ended 3-2 to Truro.
Should be some goals on Saturday! (which probably guarantees a 0-0 draw).

Dot com preview - thoughts from Johnson on the game tomorrow. Talked about being fully up for it and having had them watched for a couple of games including the Welling match knows it will be tough match.

Out and about but see Reidy has scored for a 1-0 lead and now 2-0 with Janneh getting in on the act

Up to third with that 2-0 win and just a point off the top!

Reid scores again to keep his average of a goal a game under Johnson And again! Also Janneh has scored 7 from the last 6 games - cannot remember both our strikers scoring a goal a game, long may it continue 🤗
