Remotely interested...

There are some outstanding properties up here, sadly though, a lot of them are not lived in. This one in the picture is just over the river from me, and is fabulously situated and a stunning property...and has been used 3/4 days in the last 14 years! 

My neighbour, (Rishi's mate) sold it to the estate in 2007, and although it is well maintained (heating etc) it isn't used which is tragic. Even more tragic, there are even more outstanding properties than that one which are never used and just left to fall into disrepair.

The pictures were taken from my bathroom while I was sat on the crapper...although I was fully closed for modesty.

We've had a fair bit of snow recently, with a fall yesterday producing 3 inches in half an hour! Although Mrs. Register has always said I've never been very good at judging inches!  😊

Some fine properties in your neck of the woods , Reg. Not for the first time, I forget that, and I’m assuming it’s Proboards, who prevent a thumbnail being enlarged without the viewer signing into the board. The rationale for that I’ve I’ve never quite been certain of.

Whether it’s Moretonhampstead or the wilds of Yorkshire, you need to have 6 months supplies in store if you live in such places, just in case the trains can’t run. The preponderance of second homes in the South West don’t just provide an isolated example, the increasing wealth gap enables more desirable parts of the North to also have numerous empty properties that the rich can afford to leave empty, and which the locals can’t afford.

Of course this is partly down to the Unions, who throughout our lifetimes have negotiated wage rises in percentage terms, which on each occasion gives a bigger wedge to those already being paid more, ensuring that the gap between them and their lower paid colleagues gets stretched that bit wider every time.

If, as some surmise, we’re currently witnessing a coup by half a dozen multi-billionaires, demonstrating their global mastery, that gives them command over who or what may be allowed a voice, then we can hardly foresee any improvement being likely.

As we live through the early stages of this Great Reset, and are assured ‘You’ll own nothing ….but you’ll be happy’, I note that over the past few days, and in light of the Big Tech censorship,those now suggesting it needs a slight amendment to make clear ‘You’ll own nothing, not even opinions’

That man is seriously disturbed, some of that clip made for uncomfortable viewing. You wonder why any American voted for him...well, should the truth ever come out! 

Of course Joe’s supporters will see nothing wrong in that clip, heaven forbid that they have made themselves look like plonkers. 🤨
