1. Jeremy Kyle is an obnoxious bully, and he and his execrable programme should never again appear on our TV screens. The same applies to ridiculous crap such as Big Brother, Love Island and Naked Attraction, all of which I have previously watched for about five minutes before switching to something else in disgust. Hate this type of show along with the reality shows, talent shows, lost in the jungle shows, X factor, The Voice, all soaps, anything with Ant and Dec in and so much more. Though, lord they have made a shed load of dosh out of it.2. I heard over the weekend that a pop star by the name of Ed Shearinn (?) was among the richest people in the country with a personal wealth of 160 million pounds. He has done well for himself considering that he can't even sing, just grunt and mumble. Not a big fan of this new fangled music although they can carry a tune, but are soooooooooooooooooooo boring. No knives in keyboards, setting fire to their heads or playing the flute on one leg.

An excellent post from Stewart. I always enjoy his contributions, particularly when he’s in full ban them and sack them mood, and he certainly doesn’t disappoint with this latest offering. Having recently wanted Social Media banned, I thought we’d all be moving back to the telly…..but with a lot of what we like to watch on the TV now nominated for a ban, the libraries are going to need to brace themselves for a surge in demand. 1.Jeremy Kyle A programme that’s very long in the tooth now, and suitable only for broadcast at the time of day when advertisers are well aware that only a low value viewership will be watching. Broadly speaking it’s ChavTV for a Chav audience, and so advertising revenue is limited. Ads for Primark and Werthers Originals, broadcast to an OAP and Unemployed viewership is something ITV will be willing to sacrifice in order to bring this controversy to a quick conclusion. Particularly if by doing so they are able to keep a far more lucrative programme, that has a much worse record than Kyle, but that delivers the Ad revenue in buckets compared to Kyle. Kyle to bite the dust in order that Love Island can live. 2.Ed Sheeran I saw a picture of this bloke and his wife in the newspaper some months back, both of them wearing Ipswich Town shirts. To the best of my knowledge I’ve never heard any music from Sheeran to know whether I think he’s good or bad. Most probably I’ve been in a shop where Sheeran’s music has been played at some time or other, but not knowing what he sounds like, I’ve not recognised it. Other than the Ipswich Town shirt, the other thing I remember is that he was a ginger. With that in mind, I’m pleased to know that he’s doing well and being successful. It seems that, stemming back to school playground bullying and isolation an inordinate amount of gingers sign up to convert to radical Islam. The ‘Ginger Jihadi’ phenomenon is backed up by statistics. Let’s be thankful Mr.Sheeran didn’t go down that route, even if his singing ability is questionable. 3.Swearing Hammers Well done to Stewart for taking the trouble to make his views known to the club. You only have to turn on the news to see for yourself that London is a wild and often lawless place, where behavioural standards fall far below what we’re used to in Devon. But even making certain allowances for that, we shouldn’t turn a blind eye and let them continue their descent toward the gutter. How many hundreds of games did Trevor ‘Hadleigh’ Brooking play for that famous club, without a swear word ever passing his lips ? Sir Trevor must have despaired to see West Ham now represented by foul mouthed oafs such as this, if he watched the same programme as Stewart. However, the ladies team will have a Captain. Should she not have already made representations to the club, conveying the views of the team, and demanding that they move this so called ‘Manager’ ? Perhaps Hammers fans, when they renew their season tickets, will also take the opportunity to make their feelings known to the club. An academy of football, home to the great Ron Greenwood. A reputation to be proud of, built up over many years…..all now under threat due to a tirade of effing and blinding for all to hear on the television. You can do better West Ham.

link - on a related topic the band Queen are now richer than the actual Queen. I quite like Ed Sheeran as an artist but think he is over rated and perhaps has over achieved in the last few years. There has been a lot of debates over Buckle but the year after he left almost saw us gain automatic promotion under Ling curtailed with a knee injury to Howe and the small squad used running out of steam but a good season nevertheless.

Years ago I used to comment regularly on the actual football..... However, I have not done so recently as I have not been to Plainmoor since 2011, when Paul Buckle decided to bugger off and was responsible for the merrygoround of useless managers who followed him. How on earth can Paul Buckle be responsible for the dross that was appointed after he left the club. It's not like he actually had a say in the hiring of Hargreaves, Knill and Nicholson. By your logic O'Farrell was responsible for the dross appointed in the 1970s after he left to further his career (not bugger off as you put it). OK, that was probably an ill choice of words, perhaps I should have said "...his departure was the precursor to...". He had led the club to the verge of League One and yet it was obvious, if not quite a fait accompli, that he would be on his way. This was definitely borne out by the lack of motivation shown by our players in the match against Stevenage. That did it for me, as he moved to a relegated club, presumably for extra money, and was sacked after 8 months. I wouldn't mind betting that he bitterly regretted that decision. As for Frank O'Farrell, he certainly did "further his career" by moving to Leicester City and then Manchester United, and I have never had an issue with him, but Buckle's career hardly took off after his departure, did it?

Although I have to confess that I never saw a single match when Ling was manager, the fact that over half of the wins during that season were by 1-0 speaks volumes for me about the style of football that was being played.

Jeremy Kyle is providing a service, much like Prostitutes...who I think should be legalized! Because this country has been turned into a PC, 'Uman Rights Nanny State, in other words 'A Pile of Puss', shows like Kyles are the only thing that the majority of people in this country now understand! That and Love Island of course, because if the people on the show don't have a brain cell between them...it goes without saying, that the people watching don't need one either! I like Ed Sheeren...what's wrong with you people?

I see, as of yesterday, that PB is back over here, to Hartford Athletic in Connecticut, as the Technical Advisor to chairman & CEO Bruce Mandell. Personally I think PB is ploughing a pretty successful trough, as he goes up through the coaching ranks. Pleased for him. Link: www.hartfordathletic.com/news_article/show/1021637Echo that.

I'm rather worried about all this fake news that's happening about this EU election! What’s the concern? Getting the motor for a service is somewhat of a military operation from where I live...hence the long pause before a reply! It seems that the Brexit Party, is going to kick some serious arse in the EU elections coming up, but is that fake news? I'm sure I remember talk about the British people not really wanting to leave the EU, even though the majority of people voted to do so! I'm confused! I have to say though, that I think Farage will make a terrible PM! I saw an interview with him last week, and he answered all the questions with straight answers! Oh, and thanks for your concern Rob!

There was a point there when it could have been quite serious...but the last bit was brilliant!

No problem. More than any previous election a historic low turnout EP election vote right now is absolutely ripe for a protest vote against the main parties. They both deserve a bloody nose. Something they both got at the local elections the other week, too. The list system over large constituencies suits Nige’s Nutjobs better than Commons seats votes. The protest vote may also extend to the Peterbrough by election this time around, mind. First past the post General Elections, they wouldn’t get more than a handful, if any, MP’s, so I wouldn’t worry too much about Farridge becoming PM. Or even put any money on him ever getting a seat in the Commons as a Brexit Party MP. He’s tried and failed before to become an MP after targeting where was best for him to stand. Both them and Lib Dems will do well. Brexit Party will cash in on UKIP’s ‘default to racist’ implosion and Conservatives polling 5th as their grass roots switch to the protest vote before going back to Conservative at a later date. The Conservatives could approach being wiped off the map for this one. And Labour look set to trail in third. But that wouldn’t happen at a General Election. What odds on both UKIP and Change UK ceasing to exist in the aftermath of this one, too?

"Where would the oldies be without the youf of today...."
I expect the the oldies are rubbing their hands in glee at the prospect of a very select group of @100,000 people with an average age of 72 get ready to destroy the future of both the youf and this country, a future that those oldies won't be around to experience.
