Totally agree. And how about the English in particular? If you're a Celt you get your bus pass at 60 and free prescriptions before 60, in England you've got to wait until your seven years closer to the end of the line (and I bet the reason the jocks and taffs have them is because the English pay for them). |

Back in the shed again looking at the moon.
Some of you will have heard of Dr Dee…well maybe not that many so one or two…well maybe not even that many so one of you…maybe!
Dr Dee ( not to be confused with the American rapper Dr Dre ) was around during the reign of Lizzy One. It is said that when the Spanish Armada neared these shores, he stood on the cliff overlooking the scene, and mixed three ingredients with water and produced the storm which scuppered the Armada.
After many years of studying, and searching and then finding secret books of his, I eventually found what I was looking for…the three ingredients!
I will tell you, but I must implore you to be careful, because mixing these ingredients will produce a storm of Biblical magnitude! It is infallible…it will happen every time!
I will now tell you the ingredients, but I again implore you to be careful…here are the ingredients: mix two parts soft sand with four parts sharp sand and one part cement…good luck! 🍀

I had a look at wiki for this tabby stuff, and it was quite interesting to learn, though how it holds anything together is still a mystery? Most of the barns up here have lime in them, but I doubt they have any oyster shells, although we do get rather a lot of Oyster Catchers up here, and some years back the Pennines were actually the bottom of a lake! |

 There has been some concern over the effect a days drinking (late kickoff) will have on the Wrexham fans, but after speaking to three of them yesterday (even let me take a photo) I think that all fears of any trouble can be allayed. I was somewhat concerned though, about what they were attempting to do with the sheep! 😯 |

Under the stars again so a bit of time to cool down…not me the scope.
Cutting one’s hair is looked upon as easy, but not in Buddhism, because there are days that you can and days that you can’t cut your hair. I cut my own hair so it’s easy to choose the right day, of which half the days can be called bad days and t’other half good days. Cutting your hair according to the Tibetan calendar is also imperative, something I found out to my cost when cutting my hair on our calendar days which resulted in two huge rows between myself and Mrs Pew. Unable to understand why these arguments happened I checked the dates again and found out I had cut my hair on the Tibetan days which said: oh yes sports fans…arguments!
Yesterday I decided to cut my hair when the Tibetan calendar said ‘ wealth will come ‘ and as I hadn’t gambled for a couple of weeks decided to have a flutter. Pretty sharpish I was about a thousand up on the tennis, so banked nine hundred and continued with the remainder. Forgetting of course that the calendar also works on India time, so as we moved into that I lost the remaining money.
So next time you get your hair cut…
