link - I see the Torquay statistics website has got a new page with top scorers and players to score 20 or more league goals in a season for us. In light of Reidy hitting 30 goals this week including 27 in the league it was quite illuminating to scroll through the statistics.
Although a Torquay striker has now hit 20 or more league goals in a season 20 times since 1927 a lot of them were in our peak seasons during the 1950s and 1960s with Collins and Stubbs hitting a good percentage of these and has only occurred three times in the last 50 years!!! Paul Dobson in 1988, David Graham in 2004 and now Reidy in 2019.
I know it is at a low level but still a very good achievement, I know he wants to score with his head but 30 plus in the league would be nice! - link
