Based on what I have seen at pre season, subject to more signings coming in and injuries, think our starting XI on Saturday will be something like below. Although seems harsh on Kalala, one of our stand out players in the PSFs, Keating has also done very well and Kalala is the most likely to make an impact coming off the bench. He was also a sub against Exeter on Saturday.
MacDonald
Wynter, Lewis, Cameron, Vincent
Keating, Hall , Little, Andrews
Reid Duku
Subs
Covolan gk Niate Koszela Kalala
Injured
Davis Dickson

Opinions opinions! Knowing GJ i think he will play the most attack minded team from the off with Kalala starting and go from there. I also believe Niate will start unless injured. No need to upset continuity in the side and Buse also on the bench as hes played to many games not to have been offered something. Lewis, having no experience at this level as yet will be drip fed into the team if others are in poor form, injured or suspended. Duku is the only player who hasn't looked quite up to speed and has picked up knocks so his place could possibly be in danger for the opener. Kalala has looked up for it and hungry when started but was off the pace when introduced last week. High pace, get at em attacking football that's whats brought us this far I don't see that changing my only concern is how do we create space for Reid to do damage with no Janneh? I only see Kalala who can really pull defenders about so is a must start for me and may be rotated for Andrews or Ruari depending on how they are performing. My guess is that there is only one other coming in we know nothing about as I reckon Buse has been offered something that hes considering as he wouldn't be first choice and a low cost option..

Johnson has obviously seen enough from him to justify signing him and as he says, training with a full time squad will bring the best out of him and plenty of room to improve. Can cover a number of positions that will be very useful over a long and hard season. Seems another signing to be announced this afternoon so watch this space.

Devon live reporting at least another two and maybe three more signings to come in. Striker and winger would be useful. If three maybe not a coincidence that Lemonheigh-Evans was sighted last night?

Well done Matt Buse. Takes a lot to impress GJ and hes done well coming from a lower standard. Lets hope he can push on and improve though I suspect he is good quality lower cost cover and will start most games on the bench though with such a busy start to the campaign will get some decent pitch time. I CLE does sign that would be massive competition for places in midfield and would consider it the strongest midfield group in recent times.

Wohhh! Worth the wait??? ...kin hell didn't see that coming to be honest - fancied Opie to arrive but CLE also - thats dream land from our point of view. Only problem is - how do you keep such a talented squad happy from week to week. The sort of problem we have rarely had in recent years. To boot another young and talented forward in Momodou. Were gonna walk this bloody league!! ( says me tongue firmly in cheek but hopeful...) Mustn't get ahead of ourselves a very tough couple of openers this week. Guess the crowd tomorrow -love to see 3k plus..

As Gullone mentioned on another thread we have eight games in August against tough opponents in potentially very hot weather at times. This gives us the chance to rotate players to keep them fresh and use the bench to the full. Trick for Johnson will be to keep the team as a cohesive unit although helps that CLE and Edwards played last season.
