What is wrong with Garry Linkera: 1) He never got a card in his playing career...obviously he wasn't trying hard enough! 2) He kicked a ball about...a mate of mine had sex eighteen times in one day! I know who I'd rather have a conversation with! 3) He's everything that's wrong with this country! He played a game of football...so what! Has he ever defused (or whatever they do with it) a roadside bomb, has he actually ever done anything that deserves a modicum of respect! 4) He kicked a ball about, and because of that the yoof of today hang on his every word! The yoof sit on their setees drooling on their I Pads waiting for their benefits to go into their accounts, waiting for the Jeremy Kyle (repeats) show to start, in a council house which their mother got when she was a yoof by opening her legs to Tom Dick (😆) or Harry so she could get said council house! Mmmm...yep, I think that's about what's wrong with our Garry! Strange outlook on life it is perhaps no wonder you always come over as being very unhappy. Professional help is available..... I come across as unhappy...😂 Professional help...I've been seen by the best...none of them have any idea what goes on in my head! 😮 Strange outlook on life...one man's meat!

That first sentence was brilliant Rob! I must admit you are being very diplomatic these days! Rees-Mogg...Lineker...what's the difference...it's all about lining their own pockets! Of course we all want to do that, but doing it in the eye of a gullible public, is where it becomes unforgivable...in other words, they're both tossers! Did I seem very unhappy there!

In the past you have advocated sending young people to fight (and die) in a war as a solution to society's problems. Above you suggest that only heroic feats in wartime are worthy of respect. Just what is the connection between your glorification of war and your supposed Buddhist beliefs?

Just what is the connection between your glorification of war and your supposed Buddhist beliefs? It isn't glorification...believe me, seeing a load of dead bodies every day is something you can do without! It's the way we now look at life...a Soldier comes back from wherever (minus the odd limb or two) and he's shunned by the government and society! Lineker has kicked a ball...nothing else...that's it, and he has millions of followers! Whether we believe in God, Allah or Buddha (the majority of people on the planet believe in one or tother) in all those religions, they say that when you die you stand in front of somebody/something and tell them how you spent this life! Mother Theresa did it, Ghandi did it and Lineker will do it! Which one of those three hasn't made the most of this life...Lineker spent his life kicking a ball and is more revered than the other two...shit, most people don't know who the first two are! It's the way we now look at life...in answer to your question, I was a very good soldier, but a very bad Buddhist...what can I say?

(Another) Day With EstherAnd so a great many old aged pensioners will suddenly find that one of the few enjoyments they have in life, watching the telly, now comes with a large bill attached. The equivalent to a £3 a week cut in their pension so someone said (those competent at maths might know if that's true or not). But just consider how carefully announcements such as this are planned and timed. Remainer May stepped down as Tory Party leader last Friday. Slap this licence fee bill on the old now, and who do you blame ? Well the BBC don't care, they get sackfuls of complaints every day of the week anyway. Remainer May is on her way out, so she's no longer interested. Last week we were heralding all the old folk as heroes, the brave generation of D-Day that saved us from the Nazis, then the very next week it's 'Oi you old buggers, we've decided to take your free telly off you' . Praised to the skies last week, quick to take their money off them a few days later. With a few more of the candidates to become PM launching their campaigns today, you'd have thought a few of them might have been tearing a strip off the BBC in more robust fashion. But most of them steered clear of the subject.....but not our fearless Esther, who let the greedy BBC have it with both barrels. Lining the pockets of the already super rich Lineker & Co, at the expense of frail and hard up pensioners....Esther was not impressed, and made her views abundantly clear. No quibbling if the lovely Esther becomes Prime Minister, the free TV licence will be restored to all those over 75. From a local perspective we're naturally keeping an eye on the Saj Jav/Riv Mac dream ticket. A cabinet position for our Kev if Saj is the surprise winner ? Well the official Javid for PM video was released today....and Sadiq Khan doesn't appear in it. Probably for the reason Stewart rightly pointed out, that Khan is a Labour man, and won't be involving himself in this Tory leadership battle. Saj goes around to his Mum's house, and no, he doesn't say 'Mum can my friend Kevin stay for tea ?' Although by the look of Old Ma Javid's onion bhajis, Kev wouldn't turn down an invitation. Only 2 minutes long, but a slick video offering from Team Javid/Foster.

I see that a lot of these poor OAP's have said they will rather go to prison than pay the licence fee...which is quite ironic, because they will actually get free tv there! This country is so far down the shitter, it will shortly be entering an Australians arse...think about it!

The Clown has launched his campaign. He’s flip flopped on remaining in the EU before. Might he do so again? I see he dodged questions on drugs and what might happen if Parliament blocked the cliff edge of a no deal Brexit. Good luck dodging that one later. Might he be so vain as to believe an opinion poll today that he would get a landslide victory in a General Election to break the parliamentary impasse? www.google.co.uk/amp/s/news.sky.com/story/amp/johnson-launches-campaign-as-poll-suggests-he-would-lead-tories-to-general-election-victory-11740185My guess is he would have advisors urging him not to do that. But you never know. He is so far ahead of the other candidates - even AJ and stewart’s soon eliminated darling - it seems only a matter of time before we are even more of an international laughing stock than we have become since the 2016 plebiscite and his subsequent stint as Foreign Secretary.

I have no problem with people who tried drugs when they were younger...I smoked a bit of the funny stuff myself! The tobacco and drinks companies cause a lot more misery than a druggy ever did!

Sorry Stewert, the love of your life is out...Boris is storming it! Cannot see past Prime Minister Johnson (Boris not Gary unfortunately) with those results as now virtually guarantees him to be in the top two and he is way out in front on Tory members polls.

BOJO BLASTS AHEAD !
ESTHER ELIMINATED
The stark headlines, and before the pundits start their analysis, is that Boris would appear to be well on his way to a place in the final two, to be put before the membership to choose the next Conservative Party leader. Despite being buoyed by considerable support within the TFF membership, the ravishingly beautiful Esther McVey fell at the first hurdle. So while the media experts will probably explain what it all means over the coming hours, how does it look at first glance ? I'd say that barring upsets, it seems to be heading for a Boris v Jeremy 'Theresa In Trousers' Hunt final pairing, to fight it off for the membership vote in the final showdown. Back of an envelope maths might indicate that you can add 114 (Boris) + 9 (Esther) + 27 (Raab) = 150 On the opposite side there'd be 43 (Hunt) + 37 (Gove) + 20 (Hancock) + 19 (Rory) = 119 That leaves the less easy to predict votes 23 (Javid) 11 (Leadsom) and 10 (Harper). How would those votes split and be distributed?. I'd guess almost all of Javid's 23 would go to Hunt. Leadsom and Harper voters ?? Who knows. But the media are going to have to pull something spectacular out of the bag to discredit Boris sufficiently to stop him making the final 2. They've still got time of course, and will be digging furiously. A vote, as in the old days, just among MP's to select their leader, and Hunt might well have won by a handful. But with the final 2 being presented to the membership for a decision, it's now in the hands of the BBC, Sky news etc. Can they somehow in the next month turn the Tory membership against Boris in sufficient numbers, while portraying Jeremy 'Theresa In Trousers' Hunt as the great stateman in waiting, with exceptional negotiating skills, and a Prime Ministerial look about him ? It'll be an exceptionally tall order ....but expect the media to give it everything they've got.
