Torquay United's greatest ever manager.
A softly-spoken and modest gentleman but with a steely determination and clear sense of what he expected from his players and little tolerance for those who did not buy into his way of going about things.
I am paying Gary Johnson an immense compliment by saying that he has a bit of the O'Farrell approach in him - soft and hard at the same time.
