Surprised to hear no comment on here.
We can all speculate as to why he has given up on the project after so much investment in the team and infrastructure but I personally feel a little concerned as to what his future plans may now be.
With over £2 million now invested and no doubt debt increasing just to keep the ball rolling he will undoubtedly eventually want to see a return on that investment.
The former "tip" at Nightingale Park could possibly be one reason. He is sure to have had surveys and a long list of things to prepare the ground which may be to costly.
That along with so many local objections have possibly tipped the balance. Are there other more feasible cost effective sites?
Don't get me wrong I love our home at Plainmoor but I am of the opinion that other revenue streams are needed to sustain our modest club, the debt that's increasing by the day to CO and Riviera Stadium Ltd prove that.
When and how he and Riviera Stadium Ltd makes their next move - they are bound to at some point - which way will it be?
