It was really good to hear Paul Bastard's views on the match via the TUFC radio commentary. I wish that we could have him more often for the away matches, as he is calm and collected and really knows what he is talking about. However, for the benefit of Jon and other statistically minded supporters, I think that he must have missed a few in saying that Jamie Reid's goal today was his 50th in National League matches as, according to my own records, it was his 56th. 2016/17 4 goals 2017/18 6 goals 2018/19 29 goals 2019/20 17 goals I agree with your goal count. 56 league + 6 cup. Paul Bastard is a superb summariser. All his comments are relevant and insightful and he never gets in the way of the commentary - as so many tend to do.

Seems that Nemane played in a central role similar to where he played against Halifax - he and Evans just ahead of and either side of Hall.
With 4 at the back, Kalala and Whitfield played either side of Reid.
So a 4-3-3, or almost a 4-1-4-1.
That could be a good way to accommodate Little and Evans in central roles - good to see Little having a run out. Good to see Kalvin back in the fold too.
I usually listen to TUFC Radio - and would have again if I had known Paul Bastard was on - but decided to give Radio Devon a go. Steve Woods was summariser (better than Dave Thomas but not as good as Paul B). He thought Warren and Hall were excellent. Warren is what we have been crying out for since the close season.
Warren - Hall - Reid gives a very strong central spine to the team.
A great 3 points which keeps us a decent distance from the drop zone - remember only three will go down, possibly two if Macc go pop.
Amazing we are only 5 points off the play-offs after all those defeats, but it would take Championship-winning form from now on in to have any chance of scraping seventh place. Not impossible, but unlikely.
Just hope to see some entertaining football to stop attendances from dropping off and keep a positive buzz going.

I thought that Kalala looked good from the highlights and got generally good reviews so pleased to see has got recognition in the team of the week - linkVery much a confidence player and will do him the world of good. Needs to look at players like Whitfield and Little who put in a shift every game and are mentally strong.

Great opening goal for them, but he had a bit of a clear run after Hall lost the ball well up field - and it looks like that path opened up on another occasion or two.
Would we be better having two central midfielders (Andrews alongside Hall?) with one (presumably Evans) ahead rather than two ahead of one and left wide open if ever Hall steps forward?
