Great to see that old footage ! Alan Little..... he would never pull out of a tackle ! Now happily living in Spain apparently. When I heard we had signed A. Little last year, I thought he might be a bit past his best at 64, but could still stand around in the centre circle and kick people. Then I realised it was Armani not Alan. Alan was a beast and a great signing - we had to trade in Clive Wigginton to get him. Only stayed just over a year and you know you are in trouble when Halifax can come in and take one of your best players. It wasn’t long until Webby was getting rid of the rest of them. |

Was no.4 for us Brian Wilson? Awful attempt at a tackle for their goal.
Brought back lots of memories as well as former notable figures, such as Tony Boyce and Freddie King, as well as the racist John Bartlett.

Was no.4 for us Brian Wilson? Yes. In fact it was his last ever game as injuries prematurely ended his career. He stayed on as assistant manager under Webb because we had him under contract and thought we might as well get some work out of him if we had to pay him anyway. |
