I remember leaving The Hawthorns 28 years ago feeling we had been robbed by the ref - Jim Parker (not the Herald Expreess one).
Fash wound up and sent off whilst those who were kicking him all game got away with it. Saunders sent off right at the end along with one of their players.
A real battling performance that left us feeling we could still stay up, but that Saunders spirit ebbed away under Golac.
