Our third PSF in a week and final one at Plainmoor sees us play against Chippenham, a team that did the double over us in our Championship season albeit playing us at Plainmoor under Owers and at home when we had already won the league. link - once again the game is to be live streamed and has been declared a success by the club and Johnson and has been a useful exercise getting set up for the start of the season as well as being a good income stream. Whether next week’s trip to Bath City will also be covered by this service remains to be seen.....

Always hated going to a match where there was no one there, it’s so soul destroying when you can hear every word the players say...even when they’re talking in the dressing room!
Not for me.

I doubt it would be covered by our service for logistical reasons at the very least, but if Bath have a streaming service I would expect you could sign up for one match. That is how I would expect it to be over the rest of the season if no fans are going to be allowed in grounds with clubs reciprocally advertising each other's services for away games.

Three or four key players in Andrews, Little and Hall- we know about Liam's problem - as yet not featured. Hopefully we will see one or two of them featuring though both Matt Buse and Aaron Nemane have both impressed. We will need our best players for a difficult and busy opening spell and when the proper stuff begins.
With Covid restrictions being enforced around the country once again I'm starting to wonder if we will see any supporters at all in grounds before Xmas.

Johnson match previewYep, would be nice to see some of them including Warren but main thing is to get them right.

Looking forward to my second live stream.
Enjoyed the Hemel game. Managed to cast to TV in the end but a bit fiddly - not as easy as casting youtube. Could not cast from ipad so had to cast whole desktop from pc, go full screen on computer and then use zoom on the TV remote to get to full screen. Result was worth it though. With a decent commentary, that would be a quality product.
Let's hope we have a few of our missing men back or we will be short of match-fit players for the start of the season - especially if Moxey is suspended. Stockport will be a huge step up from what we have faced so far.

link - Teams are now out with just two changes, Nelson upfront instead of Umerah and Covolan replaces MacDonald in goal. Nice to see that both Andrews and Hall are on the bench with Chris Zebroski starting for Chippenham and making a return to Plainmoor.

It seems we set up with Koszela and Buse as wing backs on Tuesday. I wonder if they will start like that again. I think a midfield three of Whitfield, Lemonheigh-Evans and Nemane would get overrun in a league game. Would rather see Buse as holding midfielder with either Slough in a back four or Whitfield as a wing back. I do hope Hall and Andrews get at least half an hour today and ninety minutes next week. We are looking very thin on the ground player-wise.

No commentary again. Just Dave Thomas going on and on.

You can't tell anything from pre-season friendlies.
You can't, can you?
Because if you could, you would be very afraid.
With just one more friendly to go, we don't seem to know what formation to play, we don't seem to have enough players match-fit and the new signings - with the exception of Moxey - look underwhelming. And Moxey misses the first three games - or at least we think he does.
Not convinced either of the keepers is good enough. Covolan made a couple of very good saves but then made a stupid and unnecessary error.
Plus was that Hall and Andrews did get the best part of half an hour.
Must do better.

Didn't watch it I will watch the highlights in a day or so. Sure I remember a pre-season where we won every friendly and promptly got relegated! As much as those wins last week meant little in the scheme of things so did today's result with a starting eleven that will barely resemble what I believe to be our strongest and GJ's first choice.
Its match time that counts and yes a little concerning we have so many players already injured and not ready it seems. As always there is no way of knowing how good or hpow bad we are until games are properly competitive.

A frustrating and disappointing day with two mistakes against our bogey team, Covolan trying to stop a corner and conceding a goal and then Moxey not getting enough on a backwards header.
Bit below par today with Andrews coming closest hitting the post from a free kick, other chances but wrong decisions made. Unlike the previous games not too many positives with the most obvious being Hall and Andrews back for the last part of the game with the other injured now close to returning.
More replays today with the coverage getting better and with fans all over the world logging in plus the Chippenham fans then suspect a half decent income is being achieved for these. If we can’t get a crowd attendance then how about a live streaming one?
Had a look at the FA suspension list and Moxey’s ends today??? Has the different starts worked to our advantage? Certainly started at left wing back for all three games so far and maybe this will happen in a fortnight - if this is the case then another positive.....
