Matchday and looking forward to getting down to Plainmoor and think we are only one of four fixtures in the top five divisions to have fans in the ground.
Storm Bella is arriving this evening but think we should get through most of the match before the wind gets up and makes it the game more of a lottery.
COYY!

So the big day arrives and I still stand by my prediction for three reasons!
a) it’s Boxing Day b) it’s Yeovil Town c) it’s Torquay United
If the unforeseeable should happen though, and there is a miracle conception, I would hope that the father would do the right thing and ‘stick around!’

Front 3+1 pick themselves, assuming Nemane was just rested last week.
Left side of back four picks itself. Would love to have Wynter and Sherrring fit, but would settle for one or the other to fill the right back slot with Kerr or Warren in the centre. If both out, choices are Kerr, Randell or Buse at right back.
Expect MacDonald in goal but could be Covolan.
We will really miss Asa Hall. Would expect Randell and Little to start with Andrews and Buse as alternatives.
Let’s hope Yeovil are ring rusty after their layoff and we can capitalise on that.

Three tough holiday games that will give us some indication of our staying power for the remainder of this strange season. We're the favorites and Yeovil the underdogs - psychologically dangerous and we have to be able to deal with that pressure.
Expect a tough and tight match Yeovil performed to their potential at Bromley and will be desperate to build on that.
We need to be on our game from the off unlike one or two of our recent performances when we were exposed with a weakened side. Whatever we are in pole position and every side would swap their position for ours and its still a long season with lots still to happen.

Team - no Wynter yet but Sherring is back Warren gets nod over Kerr. No Waters on bench. Expect Little to play most or all of the game and make way for Hall on Monday.

Moxey and Little starting also. Imagine Randell will be at right wing back again but also looking like a back three with Warren, Sherring and Cameron. Still not looking like our strongest lineup but close and a little makeshift though it looks like our strongest available with Andrews on the bench which is a bit surprising as I thought he'd done pretty well in recent games.

No Pete. Randell centre mid with Little. Sherring right back. 4-2-3-1.
We have very rarely played three centre backs this season even if some sites have laid out the lineup as if we had.

Little in the hole. Evans centre mid. They may take turns.

The two injuries have put a massive damper on a wonderful first half performance. Feel so for Armani Little its just awful for him and so bloody talented. To lose Danny Wright as swell to another hamstring injury is a real blow.

Wonderful performance - hope we still have plenty left in the tank for Monday and the away leg next Saturday. Its will be a fresh piece of paper but they will be fearing our forward play and the way we press for sure.
Back to our sublime best. When we're in that mood there's very little in this division to stop us, just a matter of reproducing it each week and I can only see injuries like to today disrupting our charge. Would personally have preferred a 1-0 win and no injuries but we have to deal with it and I thought the players who came on, Umera and Andrews did a really great job and kept the pressure on. Except for the one lack of concentration when they got behind and subsequently scored we looked pretty solid in conditions that deteriorated as the second half wore on and they could and should have had a couple more with only poor finishing letting them down. CLE back to his best and Randell and Nemanee were fantastic for us doing the simple things well, kept the ball rolling and the pressure on for long periods but every team member deserves credit for that one, a poper team performance . From minute one Yeovil simply didn't have time to play their game and that was the secret to another fantastic performance. No doubt Asa will come back in to the equation on Monday and Umera will keep his place. More of the same please Garry!
