Absolutely about the result tonight, given the line up we can't complain. Hoping that the omissions of Wright and Cameron were more precautionary than anything. And yes, Wealdstone are fast becoming a joke, integrity of the league...pfft! The missing three of Cameron, Wright and Little all had a recurrence of their hamstring problems but not serious although has come at the wrong time after we start a tricky 5 games on 13 days. Thankfully the substituted 3 of Moxey, Andrews and Boden all are ok after moving gingerly off. |

No pete f didn't play Western League with either Steve Feasby or Russell Peterson, but played with both at other times. Played with Steve in the SWL for Newton Spurs. I remember watching Russell playing with Newton Spurs when I was a kid. Always stood out. Russell used to train with us a fair bit and I played with him in some pre-season practice games. He was playing I think in the Southern League at that time, which of course under the structure at that time was a step up from the Western League and only one step from the Football League. Both nice blokes. Sorry to hear Steve died. ⚽️

I find the Premier League incredibly sterile and boring full of prima donnas. I used to love the European Champions League around the time that Messi first burst onto the scene as a 17 year old, but that competition also seems to have gone the same way and has lost its sparkle. A far better experience and better entertainment at Ivybridge Town or Torquay United. |

Don't worry stewart they will both do it to themselves. We are the form team so forget the other clubs involved. It is only Torquay United we need to concentrate on. 😉⚽️
