After the high of the away win at Sutton and a week’s rest we now travel to Woking, a club but that have been rivals and will not roll over, despite being walloped 4:0 by Wrexham on Saturday. This also starts a tricky period for us of five games in 13 days or six games in 18 days before the relative tranquil pace of three games all a week apart to finish the regular season.
The news on players returning from injury seems to be getting better with Whitfield likely to be on the bench for this one. Assuming Wright just had a knock and has recovered then the only change Johnson may consider would be whether to start Cameron. Looking at that run of games we certainly need to manage certain players and wouldn’t it be great to be 3-0 up at half time and be able to sub Wright, Hall and Moxey for example.
Since our game at Plainmoor earlier this month, Woking got a respectable 0-0 draw against play off chasing Eastleigh but have lost the other three, conceding 4 goals on each occasion against Wrexham, Bromley and Notts County but at least scoring 3 and 2 goals themselves against the latter two. I think we are playing better now than at the start of the month and should have the capacity to win more comfortably than the home fixture but I am sure Stefano will disagree 😉

link - line up is out. No Little, Cameron or Wright. Not sure if injured or being rested for Notts.

Will Randell move to the centre with Buse wide right or will Buse play alongside Hall? Less confident than I was. I'd take a 1-0 and no injuries.

WTF is going on? Get three back and lose them all again. Cameron must have had a reaction, Little god knows and Wrighty obviously damaged in last weeks effort. Very disappointing but we have to get on with it.
Not optimistic at all. Cant see us getting a result with Buse and Boden in the side but who knows always hopeful...

Better start than we could ever have hoped for. Credit to all so glad to be wrong.

Was just starting to get frustrated we hadn’t turned our obvious superiority into goals when they gifted us two.
Hope we can get a third early in the second half and get Asa off.

Incredible win when you look at our team selection problems. Well done to all. Really hope we haven't picked up more injuries, sounded ominous a couple of times. Great management to get the second string fired up though I reckon we will need some back for a tough game against play off hopefuls Notts County on Saturday who will see fixture as a must win.
Disappointing to see Wealdstone concede thirteen goals in two games. Makes a mockery of the competition.
