Pretty sure this was the game when Cyril had “resigned” and Sean Hazlegrave took charge. Dean Edwards had the game of his life and when he got stick from some on the Pop Side, there’d be the odd person who would say “He played well against Burnley” to the extent that it became a bit of a slightly ironic catchphrase whenever he was mentioned for me and my friends.
Cyril then came back after this game,
