While there hasn’t been any recent incomings, to be expected really as they will only be announced once contracts are signed and its only been 2 weeks since our last match and don’t think even those players agreeing terms after this game have signed yet.
Pretty sure Hartlepool haven’t signed any new players yet either as well as losing the likes of Armstrong and with two weeks less preparation time and on the cusp of pre-season, expect a slow start and a tough season for them.
So nine players signed up or agreed terms for next year and talks ongoing with a further four with much speculation and the rumour mill in full flow but hopefully some news soon as our pre season is not too far off. Notts first PSF is on 17 July so suspect they will be back training within a week or so.

Little and Andrews now confirmed for next season...now please Nemane follow suit! link - very good news. Think best still to come from Little as has been coming back from injuries and been below par but like Nemane last year, will be able to to get pre- season in and hopefully run the midfield with Hall and CLE in an advanced role. Adds a right footed alternative to free kicks from Andrews. Hints on social media about Little signing but seen no speculation about Nemane’s intentions.

Nice to have some positive news, now 10 confirmed and certainly now got the skeleton of a squad which needs fleshing out with something like 2GK, 3 def. 4 mid and 1 striker.
MacDonald - in talks
Slough - agreed terms Wynter - signed new deal Moxey- signed new deal Lewis - under contract
Little - signed new deal Hall - signed new deal Whitfield - in talks Nemane - in talks Andrews - signed new deal
CLE - under contract Wright - signed new deal Koszela - agreed terms

link - Dave Thomas take on the latest two signings. Confirms that pre-season training starts on the 19th and that the announcement of new signings is getting close. Not sure how long the trio that have still not accepted their new contact offers will be given but suggest it will be before the 19th. At 19 and 20 will be interesting to see how Koszela and Slough now progress their careers, They do need regular first team action and would be good if they could go out on loan to get that. I see amongst others we play against Tiverton and Chippenham and maybe a good performance could see them go out on loan at the sort of level these clubs are at. Koszela of course scored against Chippenham just after we won the title two years ago and will be a better player now.

Fixtures are out tomorrow I think?
I'm hoping we get the blank fixture personally, as I think we could do with that extra weeks preparation time after such an incredibly short summer break.

Should stick Dover in NL South and run 22 clubs in all three divisions.

I’d agree with that re Dover. Bloody shysters pocketing that dough and shutting up shop. Parmenter now splashing that cash on Ricky Miller, I see. Minus 12 not a fitting punishment for Parmenter’s shenanigans in my view. No problem with their support despite them mostly buying into the pup he was selling them and seemingly not bothered what League they were in the following season so long as football continued in the future. Every problem with him as he gambled they wouldn’t have the balls to expel and took a heck of a lot of cash for fulfilling about 5 home fixtures in the end.

Whitfield off to Stockport I think its been clear for a while that Whitfield really didn't want to stay so best he moves on. We need committed (and fit) players this season and I'm not sure Whitfield would have fitted either of those criteria for us. We move on.

Not signing frees up a budget to perhaps get someone younger and looking to prove a point as Whitfield has done here. Ben message to yellow army

Getting tired of these shitty sideway moves to National League rivals. Could do with a bit of good news ASAP while all around us sign up decent players, sometimes our own decent players. The ‘leak’ before our final no doubt agent related pissed me off, too. Bugger off. Nemane is better. Hrumph. 😉
