Frankie Prince joined TUFC FITC in May 1992. So we are approaching the 30th anniversary of what is now the Torquay United Community Sports Trust. How many people's physical and mental health have been improved by this wonderful organisation? How many current Torquay United fans came to love the club through the efforts of Frankie and his colleagues and successors? Not funded by the football club itself, but of huge importance to the long-term survival of the club through its community activity. No surprise that all previous regimes have willingly embraced this free source of promoting the club and utterly baffling that the current regime refuses to do so!!! |

And on that day 8 years previously, 3 figures featuring in the programme were all in the same Torquay team in 1984: Paul Compton, Colin Anderson and Derek Hall.
