I guess the reduced price admission initiative obviously worked with a crowd of over 3000 for a team bottom of the league in February. I guess it also had as much to do with Neil Warnock being involved because when you get a proper manager in - rather than one masquerading as one - that will generate a great deal of excitement and interest. We saw the same thing happen when Gary Owers was finally dispensed with and Gary Johnson was appointed.
Funny to think that the two managers with the most promotions on their CV, Neil Warnock and Gary Johnson, have both managed Torquay.
