While we ended up with a comfortable win last Sunday I thought we were two well matched sides and you only have to look at what happened a year ago where after winning 6-1, a week later we then lost 2-1 to take nothing for granted. Hard to predict the lineup but we know we are without Little after picking up yellows at Altrincham Woking Chesterfield Eastleigh and Aldershot to make it five before the 23 game cut off. If we get Armstrong back in the side with CLE dropping back to midfield then there is not a bad trade off. Hopefully Lapslie has shaken off the knock he took at Eastleigh, after watching him thought it may have been more precautionary?
Yeovil have their own suspensions after their two red cards and think a fifth yellow themselves so will be a changed side as well. A five day gap should be enough to even things up and our first double this season would give us a good points return over the Christmas period and keep us looking up the table. COYY!

Lo-Everton has had his red card rescinded so will be able to play against us, while we will be missing Little.

Some stats sites say he has five yellows but others say he's still on four. Guess we'll only find out when the teams are announced.

Quite possibly; I was only going on what I’d seen posted - hopefully they’re wrong.

Guess we'll only find out when the teams are announced. This is the disputed one: www.transfermarkt.co.uk/chesterfield-fc_torquay-united/index/spielbericht/3609235A 96th minute booking for time wasting at Chesterfield which other sites do not mention. You would think we would know for sure as the game was televised, but it was televised by the useless BT Sports. They missed the corner that led to our equaliser as they were showing action replays, cutting back as the ball went in the net. They then put the camera on Chesterfield’s manager until the game kicked off again. You could hear from the crowd reaction that there was some kind of fracas going on, but no mention of what happened. Was Little booked while BT ignored what was happening on the pitch? Maybe he was and maybe he wasn’t.

Dave Thomas seems to think he is suspended after talking to Johnson about this plus positives on Armstrong and Felix - link

Quite possible we will also be without Lapslie as well as Little and Jack Sparks who has reportedly returned to city. If thats the case GJ will once again have to try and find a midfield combination that will be effective against a strong yeovil side desperate for revenge. A similar scenario to this time last season. While its great having a player like Sparks come in and do a decent job, long term its a waste of time as far as consistency is concerned. More changes each week and never a settled side just as our form has changed for thehe better, its impossible build consistency. The good thing is we have points on the board now to see us comfortably away from the danger zone . I would be amazed if we get anywhere near the play offs though. More important to me is that we get our better players signed up and dont end up the decent half the squad at the end of the season though i fear this will be CLE last and doubt the likes of Hall and Wright will have another promotion season left in their aging tanks.

“Meanwhile, former Gulls winger Kalvin Kalala, who has been playing in the fifth tier of French football, is back in England - he's joined National League South side Dartford, making his debut in a 2-2 draw at Braintree this week. “
What a waste (no disrespect to Dartford) but we could do with an inform Kalala ☹️
Is Perriet (?) still about?
Shame about Sparkes, can’t find anything on Twitter about his return ☹️ He wasn’t in the City squad today either.

Johnson has looked after him as he has regained his fitness substituting him as necessary and he will be ready to go straight back into the ECFC squad. Would be disappointed if not with us tomorrow. See Moore back in training and sooner he is fit the better.
