What an incredible game this was.
We were 2-0 down at half-time and Chris Curran made it 3-0 with an own goal on 47 minutes.
Supersub Fozzie then scored on 59, 80 and 84 minutes before ripping off his shirt to celebrate and getting booked for it.
We did not know at the time but this was the last ever first class match for the great Mark Loram - just three weeks after his 26th birthday.
Amazingly, he had already racked up 340 first class appearances (331 of them for Torquay) and 63 first class goals (all for Torquay) in a full-time pro career that lasted less than nine years.
He would go on playing wherever he could get a game until well into his 40s.

I remember this game well. I was at a wedding and the hotel where the reception was in Babbacombe and in the lull between the meal and the evening, I made it to Plainmoor for the bulk of the second half when we were 3-0 down. I can clearly remember Foster waving his shirt above his head when he got the equaliser.
