So, the cameras are back in town with an earlier kick-off so not sure how that will affect the attendance. Players will no doubt will be up for this one as Johnson looks to put the club in a good light across the division. After being at the top of the division for much of the season, Chesterfield form has dipped after losing their top scorer – Tshimanga due to a broken leg in February and now only occupy the last play off place with Dagenham just a win away from catching them up so will be a hard fought game with much riding on it for one side at least. Good half, we are the better team but not able to convert chances into goals…

Good to see Omar having a good game, knowing us we haven't secured him for another year and he will be off. What was the point of having Koszela in the squad if we're only going to stick him on for a couple of minutes? This game would have been ideal to have him and Slough getting a proper run out.

Impressive home form to end the season. A case of...What might have been". I wonder if the Stockport game will be televised.

Impressive home form to end the season. A case of...What might have been" I've been thinking that. Earlier in the season I was thinking there was no chance for next season because we didn't have the nucleus of a decent side then we suddenly hit top gear. Pity to think we don't have a lot of these players on extended contracts.

Very deserved motm for him today. Won the ball and laid it off to Wright to set up the Duke to open the scoring.

What a great game to end the season on! Nice to end on a high. Now we wait for the retained list and see who comes in. This season was always going to be a mission impossible. Promotion next season is a far more realistic hope.

Promotion next season is a far more realistic hope. Perfect send off really. Chesterfield had a free get out of jail card with Dagenham losing yesterday but really cannot see them getting through to the play-offs. As MacDonald said during his interview after the game, he didn’t have a save to make with just a long free-kick hitting the outside of the post. Hope Hall is ok after sustaining a head injury. We desperately need a new striker as law of diminishing returns from Wright and think he has now run his race and suspect CLE will be off.

After watching a recording of the match I can’t believe how biased the commentators were. I know the narrative on the day was all about Chesterfield maintaining their 7th place but it was akin to English commentators at an international match! They were scathing of Little going down easily for the penalty while not uttering a word about the fact that the Chesterfield player involved shouldn’t have been on the pitch after elbowing Hall in the face which at the time they said he was lucky to get away with. Did Hall come out for the lap of appreciation? I can’t remember seeing him. Is there any word on whether he will play on Wednesday?

Unfortunately Hall went to hospital in an ambulance with a broken nose and concussion so won't be seeing him again this season. And next season? Depends on whether he's offered a new contract.

Horrible incedent that could have been a lot worse. Brought back memories of the Uzell/ Blissett incident that ended a career.
