Nice to see that Mr Alan Knill is off to the 2022 World Cup finals.
Hounded out of our club by some of our idiot so called supporters to be replaced by a bloke who is quite nice and was a good non-league footballer but with no managerial experience, Mr Knill has not looked back.
What goes round comes round! 😉⚽️

Who is he putting out cones for now? Wales? Thought he was at Middlesborough. I was never a knocker, myself, but around that time was a bit fed up Ling had gone. Good luck to him. He has stayed out of the pressure cooker of management and carved out a very good career as an assistant. Iran, USA and Wales. Surely, we will be progressing from the Group stages again. Have seen a bit of criticism come the way of Gareth Southgate, but for me he fosters a good team ethos, which is essential where meet ups are limited and where a paucity of individual ‘world-beaters’. Plus a semi final and final in the last two major competitions is not something I’ve been accustomed to in my lifetime.

We expected USA to be a walk in the park in 1950 Rob, and look how that turned out! I also seem to remember a draw with Wales preventing England qualifying in 1974, the start of the World Cup wilderness years.
If we do get out of the group stage though on the evidence of yesterday evening the countries in with a serious chance of winning will have nothing to fear from England or Germany.
Not the same without Italy there anyway.
No Pirlo No Party! 😉⚽️

Stefano must be getting forgetful in his old age when you consider the utterly dreadful side Knill created. Didn’t need fans to hound him out of a job; he did that all by himself. Might have something to do with why no club has taken him on as a manager in the last 8 years but he’s done well to hang on the coattails of the main men he works with.
Idiotic supporters are those aiming to hound out the current manager and replace him with some no-mark from Corinthian-Casuals or Dulwich Hamlet and no doubt they’ll be back banging that drum once the season starts.

Dear dear one must wonder what exactly goes on in Hector's House. Years and years of obsession about a bloke who has been fully employed in professional football at a much higher level than Torquay United throughout those years! 😉⚽️
