Gritts very complimentary about our players - and I do respect his opinion. A loss is a loss whichever way you look at it though. Moxey off injured, Hall had to play ninety minutes and Lapslie 45. We desperately need at least two of those on Saturday if we are to avoid a very big thrashing. Even if all fit, we only seem to have 14 players. Surely we need reinforcements. I think we all have to accept the owners don't really give a toss and its very likely they will let it continue to rot and doubt there will be any meaningful changes either in players or management. I believe Johnson and his staff are being hung out to dry. He no doubt agreed to budget restrictions and believed he could work miracle's with whats been brought in . The plan has failed miserably and i cant see an easy way out of the mess were in and the current crop are slowly digging the clubs grave.

Woke up this morning with a smile on my face, (awaiting the arrival of my Nikon P1000) momentarily forgetting in what direction the sun rose…then it dawned on me. Thinking nothing can spoil this day…then I read the above ☝️ post! I do hope petef is an undertaker, otherwise he will have missed his vocation in life. ⚰️
Consistency…that is what you need in football, (and we now have it) I mean what other team has had a player sent off in three consecutive games?
Top versus bottom on Saturday, if the roles were reversed (ie. we were top) there would be only one outcome…we would lose! So let us see what will happen now that is reversed…ie. we’re bottom.
Getting close to the 8th. ⏲

I'm not really sure what the ref spotted in either of Jarvis's challenges you see that sort of jump for the ball every week and at every level and the player knew he was on a yellow, made the most of it and feigned injury.. The pen was dubious also imho a clever run across the defender where he knew his leg would arrive to clear the ball. See this given so often and I don't see it as a foul personally. When your lucks out and your at the bottom everything seems to go against but we also have too many naive young players out there playing against experience who no doubt take advantage of the fact and who realise just how poor and gullible the referees are at this level.

Things could be worse:
“In 16 games this season, Durham City AFC have conceded 163 goals and scored just four.
They have won one game since 9 April 2019 and upwards of 60 players have come and gone this season alone.
They have alienated their remaining fans and owe another club nearly £2500. They are, by any metric, having the worst season of any side in the top 11 tiers of English football.
For their last match players had to find their own way on the 123-mile journey to Windscale, on the far side of Cumbria. They lost 14-0.”
