It sure has a lot of character Chris, I love the double decker stand behind the goal, it may be dark and dingy but it has a certain charm, is the Wendy house your name for it, or is that the proper name of the stand

"Wendy House" is the affectionate nickname given to it by Brentford fans. It's actually called the Brook Road stand. Griffin Park is also known for having a boozer at each corner of the ground. One of which "The Griffin" was used in the West Ham Hoolie film/bag of shite "Green Street". It masqueraded as a West Ham Boozer. It rather spoils the enjoyement to know that a film director gets lazy and substitutes authenticity for cheapness. I've never enjoyed Steve McQueen's film "Bullit" in the same way after someone pointed out that they overtake the same Green VW Beetle about 6 times during the epic car chase.

Chris, I was coming back up Ealing Rd a few weeks ago (took Archie to McDonalds for an early friday evening treat), and I was scrutinising 2 geezers standing having a puff in the door of the Princess Royal, when it suddenly dawned on me we were watching one of England's finest ever players.....
White hair, a crombie, smoking a roll-up - non other than Stan Bowles!!
