So, a home draw against the highest ranked side left in the competition in the first of two successive games against an in-form Barnet side. While many would prefer to see us concentrate solely on league survival, a win today would put us in the quarter-finals with a good shot of going all the way to Wembley and think both players and management team will be up for it. Last Saturday’s performance against a very good Notts County side last Saturday shows that we can now compete with the best in this league so should be a good game. Remembered to buy my ticket before the midnight price rise.
Quite ambivalent on the result. I always want to win every game but will not be too disappointed if we lose today. League points are what it is all about, but avoiding relegation followed by a Gary retirement party at Wembley would be a nice way to move on to the next TUFC era.
I would recommend Dylan Crowe observes and admires Ben Wynter today and next Saturday. You do not realise what a good player Wynter is until you see someone else utterly failing to do what he made look easy.
With no midweek game either side, there is not such a strong need to manage pitch time as there would be if that were not the case.
Will we see Collins start with the hope we can take Jarvis off later to give Fadahunsi a run too?
Will Mensah finally see some action?
I love how our back three work together but that formation will never get the best out of De Silva. I doubt if we will, but I'd love to see us square up a 4-4-2 and have De Silva focus on attacking with a full back behind him.
The problem is that even if you free Donnellan from his centre back role, would we rather have Crowe right back and Donnellan centre midfield or Donnellan right back and Hanson centre midfield? Would you rather have your arm chopped off or your leg chopped off? I suspect we will stick with De Silva as a wing back.

McGavin for Hanson. Collins for Fadahunsi.
Six subs named. No Omar. We don't need three centre backs on the bench, but he would have made up the numbers to a full eighteen

The pointless Trophy competition is over for us thank goodness. Not important this one and sounded like a pretty drab affair.
We have a far more important encounter next week must find away to claw our way up the league and keep in touch with the four or five teams above us and I don't care how we do it. Just have to hope we can do much better next week against the very much in form Barnet.

Cheer up I expect the girls will win! 😉⚽️ Nope, just a draw. Pity we are out as a good run could have seen more funds come into the team. Having said that, a win next week would be more important. TUFC match report

Didn't make much difference in the end. Illustrates that Barnet are nothing special. Case of who blinks first- Notts County or Wrexham

3 goals in two games, not a bad return, dare say he’ll have the onion sack bulging on Saturday ⚽️
