After Ellacombe thrashed Torquay United 4-0 at Plainmoor in the quarter final, they were drawn to play the 110th Battery of the Royal Field Artillery in the semis.
Before the semis were played, the brigade was moved from Topsham to Farnborough.
Ellacombe hoped to get a bye to the final, but the Battery travelled down to the County Ground, Exeter and thrashed them 5-1.
