Let's not get ahead of ourselves, nothing's been sold yet. I was hoping for the manager to be appointed today 😀 😀 Who knows? Until the deal is done, nothing can be announced but doesn’t mean work isn’t being done behind the scenes.

Nervous times but haven’t heard of anything unduly negative. Still doing all of the above!

Just a week since the new preferred bidders were announced although feels longer due to the previous 3 weeks waiting for the previous preferred bidder. Due to this delay a massive blitz has been needed to get the deal over the line and hopefully the final pieces of the jigsaw will fall into place very soon so the June 8th deadline now one month away can be met.
Even after a deal has been done it will take 2 to 3 weeks to exit administration so things are tight. Understandably this is where all energies are focused but the consortium anyway aren’t in the position to share their plans until due diligence is complete together with agreement on all outstanding issues as only then will these plans have legs.
I understand that a number of key appointments have been agreed or are close to being agreed in principle, one of which is the manager as discussed on another thread. So, all being well, there should be a flurry of announcements to look out for. 🤞

link - after the worst news, comes the best news where the club has been saved! 😀😀😀 You beat me to it Rob. Fantastic news and what we have all been hoping for. Caring local people as owners with zero no ulterior motives, secret agendas etc and who Im certain have only the best interests of the football club at heart. Finally back to local ownership as we wused to be in the best days of the football club in the Tony Boyce his son and Mike Bateson eras. Lets just make sure we as supporters do just that and support them and not take them for granted as there could still be difficult times ahad. This is a massive commitment from them , they have saved the football club so lets not forget that when the going gets tough and difficult decisions need to be made...

link - after the worst news, comes the best news where the club has been saved! 😀😀😀 I knew I would be in tears any day now. Thankfully, tears of joy and hope not tears of despair and anger. The speed at which these guys have got through a mountain of tasks since the change in preferred bidder beggars belief. The amount of work that still needs to be done in a very short time period is daunting to say the least, but I have no doubt whatsoever that we could not be in better hands to get that work done. Our fans have been magnificent in very trying times. Now the fans will get the club that they deserve. And the deal was signed off on the anniversary of the Bryn match. What a story!

Very pleasing news. National League rules do state the need for creditors to be paid in full before their AGM from recollection, so trust everything in hand with the repayment proposal and continued membership. Grateful to have proper owners again after the Osborne/Edwards shameful tenure.

Grateful to have proper owners again after the Osborne/Edwards shameful tenure. Need to be out of administration before the AGM on 8 June, Rob. NOT all creditors paid in full by then. Football creditors and HMRC need settling immediately, other creditors (excluding unapproved owner loans) need to be settled within three years to satisfy league requirements.
