Whilst there are even more important battles being fought off the pitch, you cannot understate the importance of the club holding on to its National League South status.
We all started the season desperate to get out of this league, now we are even more desperate to stay in it!
Three months ago, we were twenty points ahead of Welling. Now we need to win this six-pointer to draw level with them!
Welling were in a terrible mess but have been able to turn it round. A sharp contrast to our unwillingness to change a losing formula. Trying to defend in a professional manner would help!
A win today would put some clear blue water between us and the drop zone but, unless we buck up, the chances of a win seem very remote.
Sounds as if Jarvis, Martin and Craske are still missing but Dawson may come back into the 16.
With another game on Monday, managing pitch time for the likes of Dawson, Lapslie and Hall will be uppermost in Downes' thoughts.
I don't think Ofori-Acheampong has 90 minutes in him, but is he best softening up the opposition from the start before giving way to a nippier option or is he better used as an impact sub? Answers on a postcard.
I will be listening to Radio Devon - more in hope than in expectation!

You're in luck this afternoon Jon as Martin Gritton with his wise words is on co-summary rather than......

Dawson replaces McGavin and Ofori-Acheampong replaces Ash. Booth drops out of the 16.
Glad to see the chocolate teapot removed from the "holding midfielder" role. Maybe he will come on for the last ten minutes and score the winner with a 40-yard worldie.

Straight red for Marshall - yet again!
Indisciplined rabble.

Was surprised that Tomlinson was preferred to Booth on the bench.
Assume we will now need to sacrifice a forward to bring Tomlinson on.

Now Dawson crocked. Out for the season?
With Marshall’s three match ban we will struggle to fill the bench.

With two subs used up already, some players who would not want to play ninety minutes will have to. Truro will be pleased.

With Eastbourne and Hemel winning, we are getting close to having to negotiate the creek without a paddle.

Pathetic from Marshall this game as good as gone now and closer to relegation. The blokes an idiot and a total liability. How many times is that now?

Now Dawson crocked. Out for the season? With Marshall’s three match ban we will struggle to fill the bench. My initial thoughts were three. Merse has mentioned elsewhere he believes it to be four matches as he’s had a similar straight red already this season - for serious foul play too, I believe. If that’s the case, he won’t be taking any further part in the season. Absolute madness by Marshall by the sounds of it.
