Destined for demolition under the last owner so very pleased to see some time and investment already being spent on the old place.
A different sport and level but if anyone has ever visited Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park you will quickly notice how the place is geared to make massive amounts of income from sales of everything from services, food and drink and memorabilia . Massively over priced IMHO I believe the seated tickets were £60 a piece but people just lapped it up and spend spend spend when everything is presented and promoted in the correct way. A poor game on a cold windy day. One visit was enough for me I got a free pass from a friend who was gifted tickets for his birthday and needed some company but the commercial side was a real shock. Now our future at Plainmoor seems to be set Its going to be interesting to see how savvy business people who have a genuine interest in the club and local community shape the future of TUFC.

link - nice to see that these works continue onwards and really making a difference as to the appearance of the ground now. Statement of intent from the new ownership about how they consider Plainmoor to be both our spiritual home and long term venue.

link - not just about the volunteers although they have been a big part of this but also various companies that have come together to help make this happen with Wickes being a significant supplier. Helps having Danni Wyatt in management there!
