link -like the men the women kickoff this weekend starting at Coach Road against Braunton on Sunday afternoon at Coach Road. They then have tough games against Exeter and Plymouth. As can be seen, the women are now very much part of the club and Ray Duffy will be providing commentary during the season.

Unfortunately the Braunton cancelled the opening fixture so we start at coach road against Plymouth tomorrow night - linkA good performance against a side who play a couple of leagues above us, and while Argyle had more shots and chances, it ended up being a narrow 2-1 win for them, which bodes well for the season ahead where I think we will be one of the favorites to go up. Horrible to see Georgia Talbot, who was on trial go down with a knee injury. Hope it is not an ACL, an injury from which I understand she has only just recovered from…. link - the women go again today playing Honiton at the Dawlish pitch to get used to playing on a combination of both artificial surfaces and grass into their legs as they build up to the start of the season, which for them is another month away with their first game on 1st September with the fixtures still to come out.

link - lots of Trialists playing this afternoon and with both strikers away plus a few key players rested the scene was set for long-standing player Danni Wyatt to shine, scoring a first half hat-trick and taking full advantage of using the downhill slope as we went in 4-0 to the good. Harder going in the second half with each team scoring a long range goal quality goal. Bit of a break for 2 weeks now unless another fixture is set up in the meantime.

link - comprehensive 0-7 away win at Weymouth who play in the league below us. Nice to see Lucy Solloway get a hat-trick on her return from holiday and I think she will get a load for us this year. Still 4 weeks to the new season so time to build up so we can get that all important start.

link - unusually in a change to the advertise fixtures, we play Arygle again this time at Mandan sports hub with a 2:30pm kick off. In other news, I see we have a home draw in the FA cup against either Bideford or Plympton. We made good money in this competition two years ago, which kept our head above the water line last year after getting Exeter city away and going out at the first hurdle.
