He will only be doing one gig in the UK they claim and it will be at Homepark the home of Plymouth Argyle, he is a legend and he is not coming cheap, the lowest priced ticket is £55, so one can only image how much the dearest one is. It is the one and only Rod Stewart and what an act to get here in Devon.
So who shall we go for at Plainmoor, he will have to come a bit cheaper as we won't be able to fit so many in and we may have to reduce the prices somewhat. If Plymouth can do it why can't we, yes I know the locals will complain, but we can give them some bargain price tickets and then all should be happy.

Nine Inch Nails...they're touring the UK this summer and will really really annoy the residents of Plainmoor

Well Catatonia would be most apt given the lack of atmosphere, but I reckon 82 year old Val Doonican would have the most in common with the locals!

As I expect that Val Doonican has been in that over priced black cab of yours, mind you he must be the only famous person you have not mentioned yet and the fact you bought his records, maybe you can find out what dates he has free. ;D

I reckon 82 year old Val Doonican would have the most in common with the locals! Don't scoff, I've always admired his trusty maxim: "Wall tall, walk straight and look the world right in the eye" An irish philosopher

"Wall tall, walk straight and look the world right in the eye") Apparently Dave used to do a cover of this, changing the words to "Walk small, walk small and look the world right in the kneecap"
