Another classic! Yes that was John Crabbe and he did play for us shortly afterwards and he was crap.
Cannot remember hearing any whistle at the time but he just turned and belted it back to his goalie who was off his line ;D

Kruse own goal was definitely a header. Tapped back to defender(?) who belted it upfield. Kruse glancing header past keeper.

remember that own goal so well,was in mini stand,ironically it was one of the 1st game my father let me go on my own with some mates,was sure that TERRY LEE was tying his boot laces up ha ha HAPPY DAYS

strangely enough i worked with john crabbes mother,he wasnt very good,and i worked with terry lee after he gave up footy,sadly no longer with us,dying suddenly in his forties
