On the Terras Forum, there has been some discussion on the greatest ever Weymouth manager.
I would have been surprised if they'd had a greater manager than Frank O'Farrell and they haven't.
One poster suggested that Weymouth let Frank go as he could no longer play and so he was a free agent when he came to Torquay. That did not sound right to me and a few people have corrected that to what I thought happened - we approached Weymouth and they did not stand in his way.
One interesting point is that Frank was on the verge of the sack in his first season at Weymouth - one game away from the chop according to a few.
What a good decision Weymouth's Board made in backing their judgment on a young manager who was oing about his job in the correct manner and not bowing to fan pressure!

Yes Jon and how that could have happened at our club, when things were not working out the way Bucks had planned.
It is so often the case in life that people jump to early in most things they do, sometime things need to be given time. You will know soon enough if it is not going to work or improve, but jump to early and you will never know what could have been.
There will be some who hold on too late and then find they can't jump or get off, the secret is to get your timings correct and follow what you believe in your heart.
