I remember Cec very well. A good pro that you only noticed for having done nothing outstanding - he just did what a full-back should do.
He clearly made a great subliminal impression on me, since I sported a haircut fashioned on his throughout the late 80' and 90's ;(
While he was there in 1969-71 I went to nearly all home games. 1971/72 was my only ever present home season (including all cups and reserve fixtures)
RIP CEC and thanks for the memories

Come to think of it, YES you did  Rest in peace, Cec and also fellow ex "City Gull" Dermot Curtis (who sported a magnificent head of brylcreamed hair) who ironically passed away too not long before. |
