Just back from the game (wahey! etc.), and noticed on the back of the programme that we've got Derby County for a pre-season game (news to me - I'm not as 'in touch' as I used to be).
Anyway, in my avid programme collecting days, Derby County, Leeds and Liverpool were a real pain, as for the Gulls v Other League Teams collection they were the only ones missing. Leeds should have been straightforward from the 50s FA Cup games (I just kept getting outbid), but as far as I know we had only played the other two in obscure friendlies. Anyone know when?
Similarly, I recall when we played Sunderland in 2001 that they were then the only League club that we'd never previously played. Ignoring the fact that we're not in the league (yet), would we still have played all 92 on some occasion? Dagenham & Redbridge obviously not, but in their past incarnations? Morecambe? Wouldn't have thought so. Who knows?
