 Apparently the players were asked to "throw" the penalty shoot out as there wasn't room in the trophy cabinet for the Errea Trophy................................what with the thermos flask, biscuit tin and traffic cone (Property of Devon & Cornwall Police) there would have been a major logistical effort to make space! ;D

Maybe the management had an eye on other trophies to be won in the coming season....

Maybe the management had an eye on other trophies to be won in the coming season.... You hit the nail on the head there, what with the League Title winners cup the Sentana Shield, the Fa Trophy and the Fa cup, we would have no room left. ;D |
