Looks like our usual defender crisis combined with a striker crisis! Well at least Ellis will probably get a game  Should please some fans. If a 4-4-2 was to be retained I suppose you could put Robertson at right back with Hodges and Ellis in the centre. Some talk about a 3-5-2 formation - maybe the above in the back three with Nicholson pushing forward to the left wing and Thompson coming into the centre?  Looking forward to plan C - will be happy with a draw! |

I would expect Mansell to start, so it will be Robertson keeping his place and Ellis or Hodges starting instead of Woods. We knew Sills was out and Christie was not likely to recover in time to play, so Woods is the only change not expected.
As I said before the perfect time to get Carlilse playing on the left for us and as long as we give Green and Benyon the correct service and that means not just banging up high balls to them non stop, then the team will be strong enough and still have enough good players in it, to win this game.
