Wish I shared the confidence of others on here. For me it's a draw tomorrow and we miss out with the others winning. Just cannot see us being able to find the space that we had at Burton in the first half and I don't think that we will get any help from anywhere else.
Hope I am wrong!

Andy its all about just believing and nothing else, we are due a good end to a season and why should it not happen this one. There will be twists and turns during the game and its going to be nail biting, but we will be in the play -offs and get ready to book your travel to Wembley

Wish I shared the confidence of others on here. I wouldn't say I'm "confident" more like positive Andy, because IF we play to our potential we WILL beat Burton tomorrow. What I am becoming more "confident" of is that our Calvin is hanging on inside mum, refusing to come out until 4pm tomorrow...............it's looking more and more that way and a dead cert I would say at this stage. Bijou's sitting here like an overblown Easter Egg with the "early" pains of impending birth apparent but not the breaking of water or labour pains.................bloody women, always late and certainly don't understand football do they!

Good luck with everything Merse. I claim the credit for coercing my sister to spit out my nephew over three years ago now. I was waiting in the hospital for over 9 hours with my impatient mother and brother in law. I told my sister that I was going out to find a length of rope to wrap around it's hooves and pull it out. 30 mins later out came little Oliver. ;D I'm trying to stay positive about tomorrow. If I don't my nerves will be shot to pieces and I'll be yelling at my 28 inch Matsui for little reward.

We have had over night rain in the Bay and the ground is still wet, the sky is Gray and it looks like we will be getting more showers of rain during the day.
The weather may not be the best after enjoying sunshine all week, but nothing is going to dampen the day and spoil our party.Plainmoor will enjoy a big crowd today and its going to be the nosiest it has been for a very long time, its going to feel like a cup final.
A safe journey to the ground and home again for all the fans who have a long trip today to be at the game, my trip will be just the short drive across the Bay. No matter what happens enjoy the day, nothing in life can be guaranteed and nor can todays result, but as long as we play our part, all we can hope is the team plays theirs.
I'm 100% sure they will not lack effort, not lack passion or desire, but then the Burton fans will be thinking the same about their team, who do need a result of some sort, to make sure they go up as champions.
It could only happen like this at TUFC, we do not do boring mid table end of season games, today we could keep our dreams alive of being a league club again, or they could end in tears.
That fellow members is what makes being a football and TUFC supporter all about, the highs and lows the hopes and times of despair, where could you be today that will give you every emotion going in two hours, with no certainty how you will feel when you walk away from the ground and head for home.
Lets hope for a good fair and entertaining game and the result we require, despite the views of some fans the club has moved forward such a long way in a short time and no matter what todays result, it will continue to improve and regain the status it once had.
If you do not have to rush off after the game then why not pop into the Gulls Nest, we will have two presentations going on after the game and its always a pleasure to meet fellow members of the TFF.
All the best and good luck to the team today, lets party and above all enjoy the day.

What a day and the excitment is building.
Just wanted to say all the best for today and let's get a result that we can all be proud of.
Also best of luck to Merse, if it pops out as Torquay scores - what a result.
Let's have a great day and make Torquay proud.

We've tried everything we can to encourage the little bugger out from watching kids TV programmes of young chicks hatching, lambs lambing and cows delivering and all we've got from Bijou so far is a couple of clucks, a moo and a baah................she just doesn't get it does she? Olivia keeps singing "Happy Birthday Calvin" in the hope that he will fall for the trick that there's a big cake waiting out here for him when in reality it could be his father sitting in the foetal position in the corner on the floor 'cos we trusted a last minute penalty to Tim Sills! ;D I DID ask my barber for "something for the weekend" come to think of it, but he sold me some Viagra

Just had a great chat with Crooky on the phone, he has arrived safely down in the Bay and even agreed to see if he could take out the ugly balloon on the seafront for me ;D
Crooky will be joining us in the Gulls Nest after the game and don't forget that if you have not met Lewis yet and you would like to say hello to him, then be in the Gulls Nest after the game.

This whole situation has really got to me this morning.................I've done all I can to winkle little Calvin out in time, now I want him to stay put until six o'clock ~ what are the chances? I've even checked the TV schedules for the Setanta re-run tonight (11.30pm), I've been out for the hot fresh bread we buy every morning, the NLP (but can't be arsed to read it) cooked breakfast, washed the car, been in and out of this forum and been for a walk but the area's full of Gooners ~ a veritable sea of red and white. Then on the way home a neighbour is playing Samba music at full blast and it takes my mind to Plainmoor. So it's on with THAT game down the road on the telly for me, just to take my mind off the impending day of destiny as it unfolds both in my living room and hopefully in the labour ward up the road afterwards!
