Well can we go one better than last year and win the FA Trophy, as Merse and others have said this is a cup that has good history and we should be proud to win it.
Sadly the final last year that we lost just poured even more woe onto us as we had just lost out of the play off final. I 'm not even going to try and pick the team, I just hope that the 13th does not prove unlucky for us.
We need to go one better than this

With Benyon an injury doubt I would like to see Carlisle, Green, Robertson and Ellis all get 90 minutes under their belts - I don't think that would significantly weaken (if at all) the side. There is also the case for bringing back Thompson in midfield. Maybe the team would line up something as follows: Poke Mansell Ellis Robertson Nicholson Carlisle Thompson Hargreaves Dsane Sills Green This gives the midfield a solid feel about it with maybe Carayol and Stevens on later to run riot down the wings. A morale boosting win should be the order of the day!

Not sure if the game will be on or not, over two inches of rain are forecast for Torbay tonight and more tomorrow. It sure sounds rough outside and its raining hard.

Well after heavy winds and rain hit the Bay last night, today it is so much calmer here. No more rain, but everywhere is damp and dull, but the game should be on, just expect the pitch to be on the heavy side.
With Wednesday game being called off and our defeat on Tuesday night, I really don't know how Bucks will play this game.I had said I would have liked him to play Green and Ellis over the two games, but now there is only one and a game after a sound beating at Eastbourne.
the defense may depend on who Bucks sees as the two he would want to start in most league games, Is that Woods and Hodges? if so he may well play them today to get Tuesday nights problems sorted out. He may also want to give Ellis and Robertson their chance to day, with a view that they might be the ones to start of next league game.
Up front Bucks could well keep the Sills and Benyon partnership going, as he may believe it will only get even better with more games. But then he could well want to give Green a good run out, I think we will just have to wait and see. One thing for sure, he will want to win this game, so even if some like Sills do not start, you can be sure they will be on the bench.

You would imagine they will also be up for it. Given their league position, a run in the trophy is about all they can hope for this season. I also think we will be up for it. I would expect Bath to face a massive backlash after our midweek performance. The players will want to show that Eastbourne was indeed just a one-off. I am going for a very strong team and a comprehensive 4-0 win.

Well just got in and another BBC feck up................no link=no commo=no change there then eh? I'm sick to the back teeth of this waste of space, totally amateur farce of a service! Mind you, I went with Anthony to his Under 8s "match day experience"..............three minutes in - a blow in the back - a couple more minutes of unsuccessfully struggling and subbed. I've seen him descend from a state of high excitement and anticipation to one of utter depression and bewilderment in less than thirty minutes...............how do you explain THAT to a seven year old? One of those days I'm afraid!

Well we've won 2-0 ( Mansell & Dsane) sounded pretty easy but only 1,100 there Onwards then to Wemberley, but we won't be meeting AFC Wimbledon this year.....................they've lost at little Uxbridge!

Without wishing to take away from the pure prestige / spirit of the FAT, does anyone know the prize money per round is? Given the sort of money that we took on the road to Wembely last year it is not a compeitition to be sniffed at, even though for the average supporter thrse early stages don’t get the pulse racing.
After Tuesday and ahead of the Histon match, a win and a little boost to morale is exactly what is needed. didn’t sount like a classic, but a win is a win. Im not a Dsane fan, but maybe his absence over the last t3 games has been felt. Although he isnt a 'natural' winger, he certainly competes well and has plenty of experience at this level. I havent been at a computer to follow the match, but a Grecian supporting friend told me that Green impressed him more so than any other player today. I look forward to reading the match reports on here.
