If there has to be a Valentine massacre lets hope it happens on the pitch at plainmoor and we win the game in style and with plenty of goals. I have posted elsewhere that I would hope both Green and Christie start the match and we just attack from the off. Some see this as the game that will decide if we will make the play-offs, not so sure we would still not make them should we lose, but we really need to get a good run going and lets hope it starts on Saturday.

I know CG will possibly pass out on reading this, but I too feel Sills should be dropped for this one.
I said I fancied 4-3-3 before last night and all 4 wingers paraded didn't exactly do the business last night either. Albeit that Dsane's main contribution of late has been to do what no other player seems capable of, namely to score. It won't happen, but I would go with a front 3 of Green, Christie and Dsane. With Hargreaves, Wroe and Thompson in midfield.
For what it's worth, I suspect the front 2 will be exactly as you have it, Dave. Robertson may not have helped his chances of continuing in the X1 and it may be a return for Woods is on the cards.
Alty do have a prolific striker of their own and are no pushovers, but I expect a "chastised" TUFC to dispatch the visitors 2-1, with Sills scoring the winner in the 94th minute.

So I take it Sills comes off the bench in the 92nd minute then Rob and adds to the one and only goal your three up front got in the whole game

Would it help if I say Green gets the first?

I am another one who is somewhat perplexed as to why Green isn't playing at the moment I recall that Sills was dropped to the bench for the Northwich match and after that injury time penalty, hit his purple patch, scoring the majority of his goals this season in as many games!!! Therefore, would like to see Christie at least start with the option of a fired up Sills coming on for perhaps the last half an hour. I think Hargreaves may be playing as doesn't his one match suspension come into effect seven days hence? Hard to call the wingers if playing a 4-4-2 formation. I thought that the crossing from both Carayol and Stevens was poor on Tuesday, (one instance in particular was with a couple of unmarked Torquay players in the box, Carayol over hit a cross in the air) and would also like to see a pacy winger on the bench to come on as an impact player. Maybe start with Carlisle and Stevens. I thought the defence did OK on Tuesday and should remain the same.

I would play the following on Saturday
Bevan
Mansell ** Hodges ** Robbo ** Nico
Dsane ** Hargreaves ** Wroe ** Carayol
Christie ** Benyon
Subs: Woods/Ellis ** Sills ** Green ** Thompson/Carlisle ** Stevens
Play that team, tuck away the chances and Bob's your Uncle......

Sat here for a few moments thinking what to type....trying to get into Buckles head maybe....some might say there's plenty of room for me to do that! For what it's worth here's my *penneth worth! Defence, " I" have no problem with ! Attack " WE" all have a problem with! Listened to radio devon last Tuesday and it seemed to me that Christie didn't sound that bad, and when both wings changed at half time so did the game - apart from the usual lack of goals! My forward line for Saturday starting on the left: Dsane-Christie-Green( yes Green Merse )-Stevens! Those players I believe can win us the game on saturday! Buckles forward line on Saturday starting on the left: Dsane-Christie-Sill-Carlisle! Those players I believe cannot win us the game on Saturday! So which team do we think will turn out on Saturday? Oh, I forgot to add that Benyon will come on in the ninetieth minute! God give me strength.....being a Buddhist for the last twelve years that's a strange statement really! * I'm sure when I was a kid we used the word penneth, can't find it in my dictionary though.

This game will not be easy. We had 2 hard bad-tempered games against them last year. they also have a clinical finisher which we don't by the name of Little.
Burton only just scraped passed them

Is Hargreaves suspended or not, or does it start next week?
